Following the release of the much-anticipated Google Pixel 6a and the Google Pixel 6 series last year, the company is now gearing up to launch the Google Pixel 7 series. While a launch isn’t completely confirmed for Ireland, the company’s previous Pixel smartphones have been launched here. Most notably, the Google Pixel 7 series will bring Google Tensor G2 and a slight redesign. Everything else is pretty much up in the air.
It’s all coming together.

The Google Pixel 7 series was first unveiled earlier this year at the company’s Google I/O event, though it was scarce on details. Instead, the devices were shown to have a slightly different design than last year’s models, and the long-awaited Google Pixel Watch was announced too. The Pixel Watch (alongside the Pixel 7 series) was said to be coming later on in the year, and that time has finally come.
You’ll be able to tune in to the launch event at 10 am ET (3 PM in Ireland) on October 6th. It’s expected that the device will go up for pre-order either then or shortly after and that it will be available in Ireland too.
Finally, we are also expecting some updates on Nest products, including new products. This may mean that there are going to upgrades to fan favorites like the Nest Hub, though it remains to be seen what exactly the company plans on unveiling just yet. Nest products aren’t always completely available to Irish consumers either, so it may be that these products will be restricted to certain regions. We’ll be sure to update you as soon as we hear more.
