Finally — almost two months after its release — the Razer Phone 2 is coming to Ireland after we spotted it only a few days ago on Three’s website. Starting today, the phone will be available to purchase from €249 on bill pay. It sports a number of improvements over its predecessor.
Here are the most important bits (for more details, check out our full breakdown from October):
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (Previous model: Snapdragon 835)
- 8GB RAM (Same as previous)
- 4000 mAh Battery (Same as previous)
- IP67 Dust & water resistance (New)
- 645 Nits screen (Much higher than before)
Aside from the slightly upgraded specs, the Razer Phone 2 has a number of new minor features, such as a number of software improvements, customisable hardware colour schemes and support for 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround sound. Check out our unboxing video below to see some of these nifty additions in action:
The Razer Phone 2 on Three is currently purchasable through three different contract types. The three price plans are as follows:
Price Plan Cost | Contract length | Summary | Device cost |
€30 per month | 24 months | 3 Mini Flex Max | €499 |
€45 per month | 24 months | 3 Classic Flex Max | €369 |
€60 per month | 24 months | 3 Unlimited Flex Max | €249 |
And if you’d rather not get locked into a contract, the Razer Phone 2 will start at €739 off-contract. That’s the 64GB storage, 6GB RAM variant as well. It does not appear that Three Ireland will stock the Razer Phone 2 in Satin Glass, as the only option is the Mirror Glass variant. If you’d like to purchase the device, you can pick it up either in Three stores or online from the link below. Let us know what you think!
