A crossover between Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing: New Horizons seems far-fetched but user @acnh_kaylee on TikTok does just that by giving us an exciting 3-min tour of the beautiful recreation of her Stardew Valley farm in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
She starts with a little jog over to Pierre’s, a cozy little shop for your lifestyle and seed needs. We then are swept over to the well-known Joja Mart, home of capitalism and the workplace of dreamboat Sam. After Joja Mart, she takes us on a little waltz around the townies’ houses and then to the Stardrop Saloon, where music and good friends are always in tow. She goes as far as to add an extra player into their game in the form of Willy; the local fisherman. Up pops another character, Linus, the homeless character in-game in Stardew that has cleverly been re-created. Harvey, the local doctor, also makes an appearance. We then see what I believe to be a very underrated character, the Hat Mouse and his shop! Then Marnie’s ranch, the farm, the caves, the local bus, the playground, and Town Hall.
As an avid Stardew player myself it’s amazing to see someone in the community make something so cool and share it with us! The textures on the ground, the use of the face-cutout standee, and simple panels to make buses, trailers and so much more is outstanding. She also uses Mario Pipes to get to and from point A to B for certain builds and it looks amazing.
I personally am going to stick to cottagecore builds and torturing Tom Nook by not paying my mortgage but when something this good comes along, I can’t help but feel motivated to see what I can create. The overall build Kaylee created is beautiful and I hope we see endless content like this from both communities from now on!
